Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Your email address — if you choose to give it to us. That happens when you join the waitlist or tell us you'd like to help test the app. Providing it is entirely optional — you can read everything on this Site without giving us anything.
• Basic analytics — We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site and which pages they read. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not track you across other websites. It collects aggregate information such as page views, referring site, general geographic region, and device type.
• Anything you send us directly — if you email us, the contents of your message and your email address.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect health information on this website. We do not ask which conditions you have, what symptoms you experience, or any other medical detail. If you become a tester, health-related information is handled separately, in the app, under a separate agreement and privacy policy.

• We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
• We do not build advertising profiles or share information with data brokers.
• We do not require an account to use this Site.

3. How we use what we collect

• To tell you when the app launches, if you asked us to.
• To contact you about testing, if you expressed interest.
• To understand which parts of the Site people read, so we can improve it.
• To respond to you if you email us.

That is the entire list. We do not use your email address for anything you did not ask for.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site, and they process information only to provide services to us:

• Cloudflare — hosting and analytics.
• Fastmail — hosts our email, stores waitlist addresses, and sends the emails you signed up for.

We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process. If the company is ever acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy providing at least equivalent protection.

5. Your note, and quoting it publicly

If you leave a note, we keep it private by default and use it only to understand interest in the app and in testing. We do not use it publicly unless you separately agree to that.

If we ask to quote part of what you wrote — in a post, on the Site, or anywhere else public — that's a separate, specific checkbox labeled "quote permission," not a general marketing signup. Joining the waitlist never requires agreeing to it, and leaving it unchecked has no effect on anything else, including whether you receive updates about the app.

If you say yes:

• We default to using your words without your name, unless you separately tell us you're comfortable being identified.
• We will not edit your words to change what you meant. We may shorten a quote, but not in a way that changes its meaning.
• You can withdraw this permission at any time, including asking us to remove something already posted — email us and we will.

If you say no, or don't answer, your note stays private. We do not use silence as consent.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer relevant — whichever comes first. Analytics data is aggregate and retained according to Cloudflare's standard retention.

7. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Ask us to delete your information. Email us and we will remove your address from our list.
• Ask what we have. Email us and we will tell you.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. 8. Children

This Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection. Email addresses are stored with our email service provider under their security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but the information collected here is limited by design — the less we hold, the less there is to protect.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly revising the page.
